The club was founded in 1956, and we have about 25 members. We are always happy to welcome newcomers; beginners or experienced.

Our outdoor venue is at Folly Fields, Wheathampstead; there is no indoor venue.

We usually shoot on Saturday afternoons
and sometimes at other times too.
Established members can use the club's facilities at any time.

We have a Junior Section for under-18s.

An increasing number of our members are interested in the traditional English longbow, and shoot regularly with that type of bow.

We usually run a beginners' course in the summer, and this can lead to menbership of the Grand National Archery Society, the sport's governing body.

We hold our Annual End-of-Season Championships in October, and take part in competitions with other clubs.

Our annual membership fee is £55 for seniors and £35 for juniors, payable by 1st July.  It includes all affiliations, and also membership of the G.N.A.S., the national governing body.
An interview with our chairman, Jonathan Booth, was recently broadcast on Radio Verulam in St. Albans.
